Our medical reviewer is an HPCSA-registered South African medical doctor with a special interest in metabolic health and obesity medicine, who reviews the clinical accuracy of pages on this site against current SAHPRA registration status, manufacturer information and the published trial evidence.
Our medical reviewer is registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA).
What medical review covers
Our reviewer checks clinical pages for factual accuracy against:
- current SAHPRA registration status of each medicine,
- the published trial evidence we cite,
- manufacturer patient information leaflets, and
- appropriate, balanced presentation of risks and cautions.
Reviewed pages carry a trust bar with the reviewer's name, the last-updated date and the source count.
